Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory (2060 Germantown Street). Visitation at 12:00pm and Service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment at Jeffersonview Cemetery and Masks are requried.

Mrs. Janice Sue Gibson age 77 departed this life on December 3, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was a loving, caring mother, sister, grandmother, and a friend to many. Janice was born on November 12, 1944 to the late George and Lorene Greenlee in Evarts Kentucky. She came to Dayton, Ohio in 1962 with her son Calvin Gibson. She married her husband Shelby Gibson in 1964 and had two children Mark Gibson and Anita Gibson, she then later on in life had Monique Gibson.

Janice worked and retired with 30 years of service from Trotwood Madison School System as a bus driver. Janice was a member of Progressive Baptist Church where she sung and led the choir, and loved to play the tambourines while singing hymns. Janice was a member of the Eastern Star, an Avid Bowler at Hoover lane, played card games with family and friends, and was a phenomenal and excellent cook, and had a great sense of humor.

Preceding her in death is her parents the late George and Lorene Greenlee; Her siblings, Eddie Greenlee, Paul Greenlee, Mitchel Greenlee, Donald Greenlee, and the recent passing of her brother Ronald Greenlee, her sisters Cathy Greenlee and Gina Greenlee.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory: Two sons, Calvin and Mark Gibson, two daughters Anita and Monique Gibson, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers Charles and Robert (Bob) Greenlee and two sisters Carolyn and Cynthia Greenlee, nieces and nephews and a host of other relative and friends.

Calvin, Mark, Anita and Monique, I will be praying that God continues to strengthen, comfort and keep you. When no one else is there, God is always there. My love to you all!
