Aunt Janie was such a special lady all her life. She had a smile that was always there and invited people to smile back. She loved her family and friends and was always there for them. A lot of things get lost as life passes by but memories are in your heart forever. The wonderful pictures on this site show how special she was to all those who knew her and that beautiful smile.

In loving memory of a wonderful Aunt. I do not ever remember seeing Aunt Janie without the most beautiful full smile on her face. Such a sweet and loving Lady with a mind as sharp as a knife. Even in her 90's, if we was wondering when something happened, just ask Aunt Janie, she will know. Where do we go now?
Rest now Aunt Janie you have set a wonderful example for us all!

I am so grateful to have been unconditionally loved by a grandmother whom lived 94 years! Granny's sharp mind, feistiness & love for her family were key attributes in raising 3 boys & carrying her through life. Although Granny's departure from us is sad & difficult, I know she is in heaven smiling & celebrating with all those that she dearly missed over the years. With Love, Kelli

I'm proud that Janie (Granny) was my grandmother. A hard working mom who raised 3 boys on her own in Atlanta and I'm very proud of her for that. She was funny and feisty, always had warm smile and never minced words. I never met anyone that knew my Granny that didn't tell me how much they loved her. I will miss her but I know she is in a happy place now surrounded by people she loves.
