Janie Horton Proctor, 63, a longtime resident of Butner passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her home.
A native of Franklin County, the daughter of the late Paul Johnson and Zannie Pearce Horton. She attended Butner First Baptist Church and was retired from Nortel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014 atButner First Baptist Church by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Frank M. Proctor of the home, a twin daughter, Sonya P. Thompson of Butner, two sisters, Shirley Lewis of Stem and Barbara Ann Kearney of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by a twin daughter, Tonya. P. Stephens.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral services from 1:30-2:30 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Family Life Center and at other times at the home.
