Jared was born in Sydney, Australia- a happy, dimpled, curly haired and left handed Capricorn. His big sister Dana, adored him from the moment she saw him but decided when he was about five months old that she'd had enough and we could send him back.
Jared was a happy baby, started walking and talking just before a year old, and didn't stop moving.
Primary school began many friendships and his introduction to soccer. He was on a team with other five year olds and loved the friendships and the game. His sense of humour started very early, in pre school where he was involved in the annual musical productions. His part one year was a clown- a perfect role for Jared.
When he was in first grade, a new show called Kids Speak began. They came to his school for the pilot showed and interviewed several kids, Jared and his best friend Mickey were part of it. They were hilariious and this led to Jared being asked to continue on the show as their "cub" reporter. He interviewd several high profile people and was a star!
We moved to a house on a street that was a dream come true for any child and family. Rawson Ave was filled with kids, three boys Jared's age with sister's Dana's age. it was an environment where they played outdoors all day, climbed trees, played soccer and cricket, went trick or treating, had street parties. It was a childhood that anyone would want.
Jared made great friends living there and in school He continued playing soccer, surfing, and other activities.
Jared progessed well in soccer moving in to representative teams, state teams and even an international team, travelling to England and Scotland.
Life continued this way, Jared attended high school and then began to question what he would do afterwards.
He decided that investing in the stockmarket was a thrill he wanted to be part of so put all efforts into finding a job while trading his own account. He was hired by a company that was beginning to trade Bitcoin, and Jared was one of the first there to attempt it. He found his calling and did very well with this. Jared was determined, so intelligent, and focused on whatever he set his mind to.
Jared had many friends who he saw regularly. They went out together often and were like brothers. He then met his girlfriend, Sara, and had plans to move in together.
A turn of events occurred, the pandemic, Jared going to Seattle for a year to live with his mother, and then returning to Sydney for a holiday prior to making it his final return.
Jared didn't make it back to Seattle. His short life ended in Sydney.
He is everpresent, he is missed beyond words, and loved, cherished and adored by his family and friends. It is impossible to accept or believe that he has moved on from us but we will never forget him, his kindness, his huge heart, his contagious laugh and senss of humour, the prank calls and practical jokes, his loyalty to family and friends, his dreams and hopes but mostly the blessing that he was and is in this lifetime. Each moment with him is a treasure and will remain in our hearts forever.
You are loved and missed Jared, thank you for all you taught us and brought to this world. Now may you find peace, happiness and finish doing all you set out to. We're all watching.
