Jarrod Bernard Crowder, 45, made his transition to the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2014. He was born on October 7, 1969, the younger son of Elaine Crowder Lyons and Elijah Reeves and the grandson of the late Render, Sr. and Essie Crowder.
Jarrod was a faithful member of Trinity CME Church. He received his education from Meriwether County Schools, graduating from Manchester High School in 1988 and continued his education at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He was employed by Exxon Mobile Chemical Company in LaGrange, Georgia until his retirement in 2010.
Jarrod appreciated and took great pleasure in outdoor activities. He particularly enjoyed fishing, hunting, cycling and grilling. Jarrod took pride in “Family” gatherings, always filled with laughter, happiness and fun; especially when everyone was together.
Jarrod leaves to cherish: his devoted, loyal wife, Brenna; son, Ke’Angelo Jarrel and daughter, Ja’Kerria Bre’Shay; mother, Elaine Lyons, step-father, Sonny Lyons, father, Elijah Reeves and one brother, Rafael (Regina) Crowder; grandmothers, Jimmie C.
