He was born in Carrollton, Georgia on December 3, 1973, the son of the late Willie Joyce East Craven and Dwight Truitt Craven. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. Jason loved seeing things grow and decided to make farming his profession. which suited him well since he loved being out in nature. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by one brother, Jeffery Spradlin of Newnan, GA.; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joyce East Craven and Dwight Truitt Craven.
