Jason Danial Nelson-Meng joined his grandmothers, Maxine Nelson and Beverly Meng and Uncle Micheal Meng in paradise on October 19, 2013. Jason died doing what he loved, Logging, working for his Uncle at John Boak Logging, where he was a valuable member of the crew. Jason was born September 24, 1990 to Richard Earl Meng and Kimberly Rae Nelson. He was a graduate of Eureka High School and a "true son of the North Coast" with a mantra of "When in Doubt, Throttle Out!." Jason was a young man taken way before his time. There were mountains to climb, fish to catch, engines to race and SHIT TO BLOW UP. At a young age nick-named J-bird, grown into a man named "Junior", so titled by Trevor Scott as a rite of passage. This strong bond created a brotherhood that helped Jason grow into the man he'd become. A strong willed man with ideas of his own and dreams and plans for his future.
Tributes are short messages commemorating Jason, or an expression of support to his closest family and friends. Leave your first tribute here, and others will follow.
