I met Jason through a mutual friend and it was as if he kept his distance until he seen I was sticking around awhile so he could get to know me and vice versa. I was an outsider and well outsiders don't always stick around. I'm grateful for sticking around the 7 years or so that I did. Once Jason gets to know you he would do anything for you. I do regret never going on a hunt for snake root with him though. Jason was a cool cat that had no problems calling me out when I ran my mouth and I'm fine with that. I respected that in the long run. Jason had my back in alot of area's, even saving my soul at the horseshoe one night. there was a 100 % chance that if Jason didn't vouge for me that night I would have been hurt, beat up pretty bad or at the least regretted my choice of jackets that night. My brother is a therapist and he gave me a full length black coat a. k . a trench coat, . wearing something like that had a lot of people thinking I was a cop in the Wrong place. Once he told me he had to stand up for me I threw that damn coat in the trash can before leaving the parking lot. I'm a dumb ass at times and that night about cost me. Jason wasn't to keen on outsiders knowing about that salvage yard in the middle of the country in Ellis county, he had no problem calling out the person who showed it to me while im standing right there. You knew where he stood on a lot of issues and I respect the hell out of that. He is missed that's for sure..
