Although I was young when the "pool hall" was a big deal, it was always the place where kids wanted to be....whether they were of age (16) or not to get in, they were always around.  
I remember being downtown with my friends and always hearing this insane banging noise.....only to soon realize it was Jason Wiley's car....or truck??  El Camino I think was the name lol....which he had these HUGE speakers in the back.  I remember him being parked across from the pool hall and being so proud of those speakers!
Definately a time when everyone would gather in the parking lot to check out Jason's ride, listen to tunes and share laughs :).....good times.....
