Late Engineer Jaya Prasad Dahal was born in Kabre-7, Dolakha in 1958. He was born in lower class family. He had passed the SLC with first division (district topper) in 2032 BS from Jiri Multipurpose Secondary School, Dolakha. He had also joined Hanumanteshwor Schhol, Baiteshwor School. 

He had passed the I.Sc. from Patan Campus in 2035 and he returned to his hometown for teaching. He had joined Baiteshwor Secondary School for teaching. After 2043 BS, He joined in IOE to study Diploma in Civil Engineering but he wants to study BE Civil, because he had already I.Sc from TU. After the one year he leave diploma course and joined Bachelor in Civil Engineering at Pulchok Engineering Colllege. He passed out the BE in 2046.

He had joined several contractor company and consultancy company during his tenuer period.
