Jean “Babe” Beal Heritz went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 24th, 2021. She was 93 years old. Jean was the daughter of Charles R. and Jean (Chalmers) Beal of Ellsworth, Maine. Jean was born April 5, 1928 in Arlington, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Burnt Hills High School, Ballston Lake, New York. After high school, she graduated from secretarial school in Lynn Massachusetts. Afterwards she was hired as a secretary at General Electric, in Lynn Massachusetts. In 1950 she transferred to the Evendale, Ohio General Electric plant as an Office Manager. It was there that she met and married Richard (Dick) J. Heritz in 1954. Both Jean and Dick attended the Montgomery Assembly of God. Jean enjoyed various activities such as singing, dancing, and directing local theatre. Jean was an active member of the Phi Beta Fraternity of Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoyed playing golf with her husband and bridge with her friends. She especially enjoyed playing the piano and organ which she continued until her death. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Heritz, Grandsons Gregory, Aaron, and Andrew Heritz. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard (2014), Daughter Susan Elizabeth (2008), Granddaughter Anna (2005), and Brother Richard Beal (2002).

Jean and her husband Richard’s memorial will be on Friday June 18th, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens located at 5989 Deerfield Rd. Milford Ohio 45150.
