A.V.C.M. Jean O'Oconnor

U.S.N. Ret.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our father, A.V.C.M. Jean O'Connor who was born on December 14, 1925 and passed away on February 16, 2011.

There will be a memorial service on March 11,2011 at the National Cemetary located at Miramar Base in San Diego, California at 3pm, where his life will be remembered with  full military honors.

We will also be remembering his beloved wife, Anna Dawson-O'Connor whom passed on February 5, 2008 .

This Sunday, March 13,  will be their 52nd weddding anniversary.

We ask that you explore this site and please share any stories, photographs to memorialize their life before and during their time together.

There will be a reception following the burial at their residence .

Jean and Anna had been my neighbors since the 70's. There are so many conversations and celebrations shared. They were both wonderful people and it was an honor to have known them and their family. They will be missed. Much love, Lisa M. Mitchell

Dont grieve for me, for now I'm free....I'm following the path God laid for me...I took his hand when I heard him call,I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh ,to love ,to work or play task's left undnone must stay that way. My life's been full I savored much good times good friends a loved ones touch.
