Her Life

Jean M. Dige

August 16, 2022
Jean passed away peacefully doing what she loved. She was born and raised in Long Branch, NJ before moving to Piscataway, NJ where she was married, and then moved to Howell, NJ in 1969. She started her career at EAI assembling computers before she found her passion of dealing in fine antiquities at the local flea markets.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, Henry & Burdenetta Codner, her brothers, William & Richard Codner, & her sister-in-law Diane Codner. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Martin Dige, two sons Erik (Lisa) Dige & Todd (Candace) Dige, her brothers, John (Lisa) Codner & James Codner, 3 grandchildren, Meghan, Mia & Magdalene, a niece, Elizabeth Szanto, and a nephew, James Codner.
Jean was a staple at the Columbus Flea Market for the last 2 decades that many know & love. She was loved by many and would open her arms and home to anyone. She had no enemies, unless you were trying to get in front of her at a yard sale. She will be truly missed by many.
Family and friends may visit the DiCostanzo family owned, LAKEWOOD FUNERAL HOME, 6250 Highway 9, Howell on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
