Jeanne M. Venuti, aged 61, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with liver cancer surrounded by family and friends on March 11, 2019.

Born at the New England Sanitarium and Hospital in Stoneham, Massachusetts on September 25, 1957, Jeanne lived Stoneham, MA during her early years, and Salem, NH through her teens. She married and moved to Walpole, NH to an old farmhouse at the top of a mountain, which she loved, and then to Keene to raise her children.

She is now reunited with her parents, Helen L. (Lefave) and Msgt. Armando J. Venuti Sr., her sister, Angela Venuti, and her brother, Pvt. Armando J. Venuti, Jr. She leaves her children David Finnell, Marie Finnell and her husband Ryan Thornton, and James Godin and his wife, Jess and three children.

Siblings include brother Dennis Jones, sisters Victoria Venuti and Michelle Murphy and her husband Bob. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews; all a large, loving and extended family and many friends.

Great memories include the huge family Sunday dinners and holidays with family, and visiting the beaches of New Hampshire and Maine. She enjoyed gardening, the country, cooking and baking, and with joy and excitement each year, she created her coconut covered bunny cake at Easter along with many colored eggs. She also enjoyed listening to Yanni, watching George Carlin and other comedy shows and playing with her kitty named Fluffy.

Rest peacefully now, sweet Jeanne. We know you are pain free and would be with us now if heaven weren’t so far away.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from too many people to name individually, either through prayer and/or visits and the amazing team at the Androscoggin Hospice facility. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a welcomed gift to the Androscoggin Hospice facility in Auburn, Me., be made in her name.

A celebration of life will be held at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, 1000 Perimeter Rd., Manchester, NH on April 13, 2019 at 1 pm. All are welcomed to the dinner. Please text family members of your plans to attend for an accurate count.
