Memorial Service

February 25, 2019

Jeff Ingeson, 63, died peacefully on Jan. 28, 2019, in Niles, IL, after a long illness. Jeff was the son of Edgar and Betty Ingeson who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brothers David of Michigan, and Brian of Wisconsin, his long-time friends Curt Lindquist of DesPlaines, IL, and Jon Johnson of Glenview, IL, and many other friends. Jeff was born in Chicago at Illinois Masonic Hospital on Oct. 25, 1955, and lived in Evanston, Glenview, Skokie, and Northbrook throughout his life. He attended Glenbrook South High School where he explored theater, music, and other arts. Jeff loved cooking and worked as an apprentice and caterer for Dumas Pere l'Ecole de la Cuisine Francais, owned and operated by John Snowden in Glenview. He was employed by the Johnson Garage Door Company for more than 20 years as a receptionist and scheduler. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1136 Wesley Ave, Evanston, IL 60202. A reception will follow.
