Tributes
Leave a tributeI remember Jeff as an astute businessman and a good friend. Several years later after the Sub Shop closed, I heard from Jeff and Kay, they had just returned from Florida and invited me over to try Cuban Coffee which they had fallen in love with. I'm saddened to learn of his passing, rest in peace my friend.
For some years, it seemed I would bring new friends into the circle and everyone just "clicked". Of greater note, most of this group continues now to experience lifes up and downs together. Friends have married, became parents, watched all the graduations, then grandparents and as our friend Jeff, some are no longer here to share all the remains.
Claire Walchi introduced me to her circle of friends and there was Jeff. At first it was a little difficult to feel totally comfortable with him. Although I did much with Claire, (in fact Claire and I shared the same bedroom! (same house living there at different times :)) Jeff wasn't always around so I would see him less frequently. After several parties, Jeff could tell I was "harmless" and we laughed when ever we saw each other in the years to come.
In Jeff I found a man who would live "his" life, "HIS WAY". I didn't always agree with his choices, but I experienced a kind man with a great sense of humor and a sly way of getting his points across. I'm glad to say the time I shared with Jeff always was comfortable and rewarding for both of us.
Wishing all of you the very BEST! DAVID CURRO
sense of humor, his youthful enthusiasm, and his interest in everything
under the sun. He was a good guy and I will miss him.
Rest well pal. We'll all be together again in the sweet by and by. Abe
Many of the people who loved him will gather this Saturday, May 10 at Oblio's at 2:00 to share our stories of him and remember him. Bring a dish to pass and any vintage photos or memorabilia you might have.
I hope the fishing is good where you are buddy. Thank you for being my friend.
Kay, EP (DP), Cody (Stephanie), and the rest of my Satori/Blue family, my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Shine On Jeff you will be missed.

Cool
Erica and I were having drinks with Jeff one night at Oblio's, and Jeff decided to take off when the bar was filling in with the "late" bar-goers. Erica and I were left in the newer back area when her phone rang: the game that was on when Jeff had left (which he knew we hadn't been paying particular attention to) had gotten really close in the time it had taken him to drive home, and he thought people may not have been watching down there and that we could bring peoples' attention to this. So EP hangs up and says "Holy shit! The game is really close!" Sound was turned up, and everybody got to see the end, and EP and I got to look cool like we knew what was going on all along.
