This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jeff Smith who was born on June 1, 1954 and passed away on May 12, 2011. We will remember him forever.
Jeffery Joseph Smith, 56, of Florida passed away May 12, 2011. He was born on June 1, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH to Edward and LaVerne Smith (nee Kenney). He was raised in the Cincinnati and NKY area until joining the navy. He traveled the world during his service, retired after 20 years and then continued his career in Orthopedics. His kind, gentle and compassionate spirit will be missed by his loving wife Ione Felix Smith, Dunedin, FL, Mother, LaVerne Smith, Highland Heights, KY, Father, Edward (Connie) Smith, Oldsmar, FL Brothers, Doug Smith, Palm Harbor, FL, Tim (Linda) Smith, Dunedin, FL, Dennis Smith, Independence, KY, Sisters, Teri Degenhart, Palm Harbor, FL, Kathy (Jack) Genever, Ft. Pierce, FL, Sandy Smith, Highland Heights, KY, Laurie (Mark) Jurkiewicz, Colorado Springs, CO, Shelly (Richard) Wilbur, Highland Heights, KY, Jacquie Meadows, Highland Heights, KY, Chantelle (Cory) Spann, Oldsmar, Fl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. And last but not least his beloved Bear and Baby. Mass will be held at 10am, June 11, 2011 at St. Therese Church in Southgate, KY. Celebration of Life to follow in the undercroft.
