Janie, you know how much we love Jeff, you and your family! I remember about 50 years ago when I started dating his cousin Richard, we came to Alabama and went over to Sammy and Wanda’s house and I met their family! I loved the laughter and fun they had, Over the years we grew closer and closer to you and Jeff and enjoyed lots of fun times together. Vacations at PCB our daughters weddings, the guys riding the bull at Wild Bills when y’all came up for Richards 50th birthday…I could go on and on but you know those memories also and you know our love for your entire family! Cherish your many memories and hold them close to your heart in the days ahead! I am here if you need me. Please come to Georgia anytime you want to. I will cherish our love and memories forever. He was a special “CUZ” and we know we will see him again!

Jeff and his family lived across the street from my grandparents in the Mill Village. Both Eddie and Jeff played baseball with my brothers and I went to school with Jason. I’m so saddened to hear of his passing and will be praying for his entire family.

So very sad to read this about Jeff. I met Jeff playing baseball at Jeff State and instantly became friends. We had very similar interests outside of baseball and we often ate meals. He was an incredibly good friend and always smiled. He was fierce as a competitor but easy to like. Prayers for all of the family and all that knew him. He will be missed.

I knew Jeff from Benjamin Moore,  I was one of them that came up from Florida. Jeff was a very likeable person,  every one lite up when he'd come around because you knew he was going to do something to someone,  he always made you laugh. I always would call him my twin because I found out his birthday was the same month, day and year as mine.  I could never get him to check his birth certificate and see what time he was born,  I would of liked to see who was the oldest. Rest in peace Jeff, you were a good friend.
