This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jeffrey Gregg Call.
Jeffrey passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his residence in Albany, NY. Born and raised in Suffern, NY on July 29, 1968, he was the son of Raymond H. Call and Joyce Ann Burwash. He is survived by parents Raymond and Joyce Call, Punta Gorda, FL; sister Claudia (Robert) Castro of Coral Springs, FL; Brother Eric (Lauren) Call of Guilderland, NY; nieces Lily and Amelia Call, Hannah and Paulina Castro; nephew Aren Castro; and numerous friends and family.
Jeff will always be remembered as a friendly and happy guy, and as ”lovable, huggable Uncle Jeff”. He enjoyed snow skiing as well as fishing and boating at the family’s Adirondack camp. He will be terribly missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
Joyce Ann Call joined Jeff in heaven on May 4th, 2015, after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She is now at peace with her youngest son, Jeff. We love and miss you both!

Happy belated Uncle Jeff... I will say that with all the darkness and sadness with Mommy's ugly disease, at least there are moments where she gets to escape to a world where her entire family is still with her. And sometimes, when we're lucky enough, she'll take us with her on that journey... As if you are all still here with us in those fleeting moments. Its a beautiful, dim little light in all the darkness, but a light none the less. I love you and miss you all deeply.

I was on that same ski trip with you 10 years ago at Gore. I am truly grateful that you were able to join us that weekend. You are still sorely missed. I have a framed picture on my wall of one Halloween many moons ago where you and I and some of our other cronies are all dressed up, always makes me laugh. You had the most infectious smile and your laugh could light up a room. Always in our thoughts Jeff!

Thinking of Jeff today as I do every year since he shared a birthday with my late Father. Reading through the tributes, I came across one from Richard Lenihan written in February of 2011. Sadly, Richard passed away this past year as well. I'm thinking that Rich, Jeff, Joyce, my Dad, and all the other Pine Grove neighbors that passed (way too soon) are having a big Sloatsburg reunion! Thinking of the Call family as I always do with great memories. Rest in Peace, Jeff. Happy Birthday in heaven.
