Funeral services will be held December 29, 2022, at Gateway Cathedral Church, 5501 Olive Rd., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Service will begin at 1:00pm, with visitation at 12:00pm until time of service with family receiving friends. Pastor Arvin H. Ridley, Officiate. Interment at West Memory Gardens

Jeffrey John Ruby, age 65, was born February 21, 1957, in London England. He went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2022, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Martha Ruby, Father George Ruby, and brother Leonard Ruby.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory, stepmom Dee Ruby, sisters Gina Ruby, Tina Pritchett (Mark) and Rita Jenkins (Timothy). Brothers, Julius Ruby Sr. (Denise) and Richard Ruby. Stepsons Gerald Whitaker, Joey Williams, and Ronnie Hill. Nieces, Kaytonia Ragland, Shazon Ruby, Jasmin Mitchell, Britany Ruby, Chenika Smith, and Damairess Babers(LaBrian). Nephews, Darryl Brooks Jr. (Andrea), Ricky Rutledge, Mark Ruby, Julius Ruby Jr., Justus Ruby, Jalen Ruby, DeMarkio Anderson, Mark Pritchett Jr. and Marcus Pritchett. A host of great nieces and nephews. Special friends Michael Thomas, Rick Rutledge Sr., Margaret Atkinson (Willie), Mohammad Thomas, and Mike Patterson.

Jeffrey Ruby was a GO GETTER and a MONEY GETTER, and you know if you rode with him, you were going to come home with some cash. Jefferey loved to drive the highway and there was not a place he hasn’t been, and he’s never met a stranger. Jeffrey was very intelligent and educated. He obtained his Associates Degree at Sinclair Community College and was pursuing his bachelor’s degree prior to his death. Jeffrey was a man you would love to know, and he will be deeply missed.
