Jenifer began life on the 16th December 1936. She was born in Ware, Hertfordshire. She was placed in a Children's Home and formerly adopted by Walter Arthur Charles Harvey and his wife Ethel Harvey on the 1st April 1939. Jenifer enjoyed a quiet life with her parents and came to live in Hull where a few years later she decided to go into nursing and Midwifery. She later joined the Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps. 

Later Jenifer met James Walker whilst our in Singapore. They later got engaged and then married on 26th June 1965. Their first born Meryl Jane Walker was born 13th May 1966. Just over four years later their son John Tarbet Walker followed. Born on the 20th January 1971. James left the Royal Fleet Auxiliary before marrying Jenifer and worked as an Engineer. Jenifer stayed at home looking after her elderly parents and two children. Many years later Meryl got married to Peter Adrian Ketley and had two children. Francesca Louise born 10th September 1993 and Ashley John Thomas Ketley on 18th May 1996. James unfortunately passed away just before his 70th birthday leaving behind his widow Jenifer and his two children. Francesca went on to having three boys. Declan Lee Caldera on 22nd March 2010, Isaac Elliott Rimmer (formerly Ketley) on 4th May 2014 and Alfie James Rimmer born 21st February 2017. 

Jenifer later became ill and eventually had to go into hospital where she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She died six days after diagnosis on the 12 December 2018 surrounded by her Daughter, Son, Grandchildren and her Grandson's Girlfriend.
