Those that we love will never be more than just a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory, they will live on in our heart forever. Jennifer, It will be the little things that we remember and although it is hard right now, the memories and love that we cherish so much, will become the tools to help push away the pain. Rest in eternal peace.

Gone too soon! A gentle giant, who was kind, loving, and giving, is resting until that great day when Jesus, our loving Lord and Savior comes to claim His own. And so we do not weep as those who have no hope. Praise be to God for that blessed hope, when we will indeed see our sister and friend, Jennifer, again. Let's be faithful until then! Our deepest condolences to the family. Much love! God bless!

Even though we saw it coming we were hoping against hope and praying for a miracle. God chose otherwise and His Word assures us that He loves us and is in perfect control of all things, so we must trust that even in this He is showing His heart of love because the suffering is over and we have tons of precious memories to cherish despite the tears.

Despite the suffering, she was blessed with a good long time to commune with and make peace with her Saviour, so we can be assured that we will see her again once we do the same.

In may ways Jennifer was the glue that held the family together and no-one escaped her touch. She had a BIG, KIND heart of LOVE that held the whole family and so many others in it.

I pray that the family receives a supernatural grace to move on from this great loss and will each produce your own glue to bond together as you move on without her physical presence. Brian, you were her pride and joy and I cannot even imagine the pain that you feel now. Being the fighter that she was, I believe she would want you to be strong and to cherish her memory by being the best man you can be. You remain in my prayers.

Her passing is really very painful news for me personally, for many reasons, but I will continue to cherish her kindness to me and the fond memories I have of her. Today I salute a woman who had unparalleled strength and a heart of gold.

May her soul rest in peace.

It's a road we all must travel, but even with this knowledge death brings such pain and there can be many unanswered questions. But thanks be to God for the assurance that there's hope through Christ Jesus who died and rose again , therefore God will bring back to life those who sleep in Jesus. Let me therefore use this medium to express my condolence to the Allen's family, immediate and extended. Praying that you will mourn and comfort each other in the blessed hope of victory over death. Sleep in peace Jennifer and may the light of God shine upon you.
Your memories live on.

Aunt G – Our rock of kindness.

I never met my grandmother. She passed before I was born. But everyone tells me how kind and generous she was. I believe in the power of generational love that was passed down from my grandmother to many of the phenomenal women in my family, especially to my Aunt G. She the rock, the web, the glue that bring everyone together, the honest most truthful lovely woman I know. When I see her, I see strength, wisdom and most importantly the same kindness and generosity that makes everyone feel nice. The last time I saw Aunt G in person was August 27th 2018. I was spending time in Harlem in the archives and I asked her if I could stay with her for a week. Her answer was yes of course, even though it was so last minute and she had renters. She picked me up the train station and took me out to the Olive Garden. I felt so loved and cared for. Aunt G always made you feel loved and cared for. When I arrived at her home we talked all night as I looked through all the beautiful family pictures. She spoke of the beautiful party the family had put together for her birthday, one of her fondest memories and how her place was “pack up.” Everyone was sleeping everywhere, and she said it did not matter, as long as everyone was together. I realized that everyone “pack up” her place because of her warmth, because she is the glue. She is the glue that keeps up all together. After a week of wig, shoe and body soap shopping, eating out and in, late night conversations and I was so so sad to go. She gifted me some Afro-centric jewelry and clothes as I made me way to the airport and all I can think about was wow…what powerful bloodline of love.

Aunt G. We miss you. I cannot believe you are gone. I heard of the news as I flew from Vancouver to Toronto. And I did not want to believe it was real. See I was looking forward to visiting you again when I went to NY. We are so sad that we cannot hug and kiss you and wig shop. But we are so grateful for the precious moments we share with you. You remain our rock. You remain the example of what God’s love is suppose to be. And whenever we struggle, we fight, we get upset as a family, we must remember…our rock and smiling down from heaven…telling us to be kind.

We love you, we miss you Aunt G.

Jennifer Allen, a beautiful soul, a true friend! A woman who exhibited dignity and quiet strength, even while going through the challenges of illness. You wore your dash of life very well! Loving the people around you. Giving much of yourself and always treating others with respect. I know family meant everything to you. So now my friend, while you sleep in Christ, my prayer is that God will comfort the hearts of those left behind. Condolences family!

Though we are placed in the tomb amidst earth sorrow and gloom, when Gabriel's trumpet shall sound we shall arise. We'll soar to submits unknown where morals never have flown and meet our blessed redeemer in the sky.--We shall arise, meet in the sky, when Gabriel blow his trumpet loud no more the grave will us enshroud; They'll be no sorrow there on that glad morrow fair; Our Lord will dry all tears from weeping eyes, We shall arise meet in the sky,The earth and sea give up their dead to join the glory on ahead Earth shadows never fall; Death angels never call; Oh when the trumpet shall sound we shall arise

A gentle soul ascended to heaven, leaving behind a lot of pain. We say goodbye to our dear friend Gee. You went to heaven too soon, leaving behind you tears and pain. We miss you. May God rest your soul!

To the Allen Family: We pray that the love of God enfolds you during this difficult time and that he helps you heal with the passage of time. It is during the toughest times that our faith is tested the most. We pray you will find strength in your faith and be reminded of God’s love, easing your pain.

With love from the Bernard Family.

Jennifer, my cousin, we didn't know each other while you were with us but I can confidently say I knew your heart. I heard stories about your life, your experiences and the type of person that you were and I couldn't help but feel inspired. Thats what you were, an inspiration. Your work ethics were like no other and you are gone entirely too soon. For now, rest in paradise until we can all reunite one day.

My cousin Jennifer was one of the most excellent people you could ever have the privilege of knowing. She was always very encouraging, kind and generous. I remember when my sister Sandra left our Grandmother’s house in the country and G happily provided her a place to stay. I also remember back in the mid-80’s when she used to sell in the craft market, and bring back stylish shorts for me. She didnt care if I could pay her back that week...she was so selfless.I'm so grateful that we got to spend hours on the phone just talking about the past and how we were doing now and i'm truly saddened that I missed what I now know was the last time I could of heard her voice, but I'm comforted with the memories.

G, we love and miss you. Until we meet again.

RIP cuz.

I thank you that, I thank you for all the inspiration in your views of life as you see it,
Just gave me pause to reflect on my on life.
It’s so difficult to comprehend this happening,
you passing away so young, but as you always said, Our lord has a big plan for all of us.
May you Rest In Peace & finally no more pain.

Say not, they die, those splendid souls,
Whose life is winged with purpose fine;
Who leave us, pointed to the goals;
Who learn to conquer and resign.
Such cannot die; they vanquish time,
And fill the world with glowing light,
Making the human life sublime......Ms Jay you conquered and resigned ....SIP splendid soul. You will alway shine.

She's such a wonderful woman with a soft heart.  She was my coworker who was there for me when my husband passed away. I called her Ms. Thomas. She always cared for people and always told me about her grand daughter. May her soul rest in peace. She will be deeply missed.

My dear sister and friend, your passing has created an empty spot in our friendship that no one else can fill.
     It is my humble opinion that you have gone far too soon; but just remember.... we shall have eternity to make up for the temporary loss.
      To the bereaved family, take heart, the getting up morning is not far distant.....until then may our hearts keep on singing.

To one who bares the sweetest name, some call her her sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, in-law however she was a child of God called JENNIFER. She’s gone but will not soon be forgotten, she’s left behind a torch for us to carry on. To love, to laugh, to care, to give, to NOTwork as hard as she did. So let’s rise to the occasion and honor our dear Ms Margaret (as I loved to call her).
