Martin-IZING!

March 30, 2013

One summer Jenni talked me into working with her at One Hour Martinizing.

I am so glad I did.

We all know that Jenni loved to laugh, and embarrass
the crap out of you if she could.

Well she would pull up in my driveway (because she always had to pick me up) and LAY on the horn, stick her head out the window and scream:

"SARRRRRRRRRRRRRR-AH it's time for Mar-tin-IZINGGGGGGG"
in her absolute craziest, most spaztastic Jenni Buth voice.

My neighbors would all be peeking out their windows to see what that heck was going on. She would not stop until I was in the passenger seat, and then she'd laugh so hard and I would smack her on the shoulder.

It still makes me giggle to this day.
She loved to be silly, strange and sassy.
And I loved her for it.

She did it every time she picked me up that summer.
One of my favorite memories!!!!

Always a welcome smile

April 3, 2012

Jenni was just a unique person.  She was the first person who welcomed me to my new home in Bloomington, right across the street from her.  She made me feel welcomed, answered my million questions and we became friends in our own right. Over time her mother became one of my dearest friends.  They were both so supportive during a tough time in my life.

The world has lost a shining star but heaven has gained an angel.  She was much to young to leave us but has left behind a new shining star in her daughter Quinn.

We love you Jenni & will miss her smile, laughter & spirit.  May she rest in peace & all that knew her have an angel watching over them.
