Julie's Preschool Graduation

March 25, 2011

When Jennie was about 6 yrs old we had to go to her sister, Julie's preschool graduation. Julie went to preschool at a Methodist Church in Palm Harbor,FL.  (Honestly our family really never went to church when the girls were growing up, I did when I was younger but after my mom died when I was ten we moved to Florida and just really never went,)  Anyway, as we were walking into the church for the ceremonies there was Jennie standing at the entrance inside right along side her father and I, looking all around, eyes so big, then out of her mouth you hear "WOW, I didn't know this is what a church looked like inside" in such a sweet, LOUD and innocent voice from  a child that young. You know how quiet it is in a church, well talk about wanting to hide under one of the pews, that's where I wanted to go after seeing everyone turn around and look at us. You can bet that after that night, the girls did go to vacation Bible school each year sometimes more than one just so they could get the experience and knowledge of religion. We always said that we would let them make up their own mind when they got older. That is one day I will never forget. Talk about a picture being priceless, I am so glad no one had a camera to see the looks on our faces..lol...

Anything and Everything

January 26, 2011

If you have a story to share or some rare and funny moment or even an awkward moment...would love for any and everyone to share.  Jennie was and is a beautiful, wonderful, caring and very loving young lady. Help me keep her memory alive by sharing any little thing that might come to mind.  Doesn't have to be a big thing, it can be something very trivial.  Just write if you feel like it.  Thank you to everyone that has visited this site.....in a few weeks there will be many more pictures added, so I hope you come back and viist and comment if you like.
