R.I.P. I'm gonna miss you little cousin
This memorial was created in memory of Jerry Dean Walker Sr., 33, born on December 21, 1983 in Bartow Fl. to Larry and Clara Walker. He passed away on July 7, 2017 as the victim of a hit and run. He is survived by his sons Jerry Dean Walker Jr. and Dylan Jae Walker, and his daughter Jadon D. Walker. He is also survived by his sister Tina L. Walker and brothers Christopher E. Walker and Larry Walker (Lucy Walker). He is preceded in death by his parents Larry and Clara Walker, and his grandparents Martha and ML Pickett.He lived the majority of his life in Highlands County Florida. We will remember him forever. Your life was an adventure, but that adventure was cut short.

RIP Jerry. I sincerely hope you are at peace now. We met 16 years ago, we now have 3 amazing children, who are growing into amazing young adults. They will forever miss you.

The birth of Jerry Walker Jr.

This was a rather eventful story. Jerry and I found out I was pregnant with our first child in February of 2002. The Walker family decided to move to Ga when I was about 6 months pregnant. We decided Jerry would head to Ga. With his family to set everything up and I would stay in Fl until after our son was born. He came back about a week before Jerry Walker Jr. Was to be born. On the night of September 29th I went into labor. So my mom took Jerry and I to the hospital. Only 27 was being worked on at the time. We ended up hitting a rather large pothole so we ended up with a flat tire. They had a concrete barrier in the median. Trying to climb over that thing 9 months pregnant and in labor was quite the sight to see I am sure. Finally made it over that to get to the Best Western on the other side of 27 where they called an ambulance. Our son Jerry Dean Walker Jr. Was born 7 lbs 2 oz. On September 30th of 2002. Jerry's face the moment he first held our son will forever and always be my favorite moment with Jerry Sr.
