His Life
May 9, 2016

Mr. Jackson was born in Halls, Tennessee on March 18, 1933, the son of the late, Elton Eubel Jackson and Mary Dimple Carlew Jackson. He was a Christian by faith. Before his retirement he was a truck driver for United Van Lines. He enjoyed this job immensely because it gave him the opportunity to travel and see many beautiful sites. When he was not working, he loved fishing and boating. One look in his yard would instantly tell you that Mr. Jerry had a green thumb. His beautiful rose garden was a breathtaking experience. He was particularly fond of Mexican Food. It did not take you long to notice that he had a fondness for western wear. He was a wonderful companion to his dear friend, Edna Griffin. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Edna Griffin of Franklin, GA; and nephew, Bobby Jackson from Michigan.
