I think Dad was closest with Uncle Jerry because he told a lot of stories about the things they did. One of the stories I remember was when they would catch a freight train to Greenville then ride it back. I bet they were always getting into mischief. I always admired my Uncle Jerry.

Uncle Jerry died when I was very young but what I remember most was the play house he made. I was so in awe of it. I wish I could have known him better. I will have that chance in Heaven one day and for eternity.

Mom, this is beautiful. What a nice thing to do on what would have been his 98th birthday! I never realized how much you really look like him...you have his nose! I can't wait to meet him in Heaven someday, when our Heavenly Father calls me to His side. Love you, Papa! :)
