"Happy Birthday Brother! Heavens smiling today because of the angel you are. Your family will be visiting you today to lay flowers. Keep shining your bright lights! Miss you much!"
"I miss you dearly Brother, you were not my blood brother, but you were more than a blood brother. You were always there to help whenever I needed you. You stopped by the store the week before your passing just to see if I needed you to help me with something. I enjoyed our talks and that you always felt comfortable telling me your heart. I will always miss you and thank God that we have another Angel looking over us to protect us and that I was privileged to know you. Until we meet again. Love You......"

"In the early Eighties, all of by brothers were in Texas. My brother in-law, Lil Bro was a big brother to me. He even got me a job at West Point Lake. The man always worked hard and spoke softly. He taught me that I didn't always have to try to be hard and that it is okay to be kind and gentle with the women folk. Some of his friends jokingly referred to him as Lil Bro Strickland. Jerry Lee Thomas, Sr. will always be a part of the Strickland family. RIP Lil Bro"
"Our prayers are with the entire family. There is peace in the arms of Christ.
