I will always remember Jerry and Joyce. The many times that we spent together with my Mom and Aunt Mabel come to mind often. I know that you will miss him but be assured that he is now at peace and is once again with Joyce and my Mom and Mabel and others. My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

M & M-- Words seem inadequate...your Papa was a Father. It is obvious that who he loved, before he left, carry much goodness inside. Flowers wither, seeds always remain. May he live on through you, the kids and your family. He remains everlasting in my heart. Proud to once be called one of Jerry's kids. Peace my friend. Much Love.

Dad Little was a loving, compassionate man who put his family first. A man who was not ashamed to be the first in line to assist someone in need. He will be missed by manhy, however, we rejoice knowing that he is in a most beautiful place now, with our Lord, family, and friends. He lives on still in our hearts and memories. Angel wings, Dad, angel wings. ((hugs))

I will always remember ya'll coming over on Thursday nights to watch Star Trek and us going over to play on cards nights. Daddy Jerry, we loved you like a father and considered you and Mama Little our other parents. Those were good times. We will be missed but we will always have the memories. Tell Ricky & Mama Little I said hi. Love you always,

Some of my best childhood memories were hanging out at the Little's house in Palm City. Ma & Pa Little let us ride bikes all over the place. We felt so free!!! I loved his sideburns. Miss them both. They were awesome. I look forward to seeing them again in Heaven someday.

I will miss you Daddy! You have brought so many memories into my life, and taught me so much. You have been there through my life and my life changes. You loved me no matter! You are the BEST DADDY any little girl could have asked for or wanted. Now it is time to take care of Mom and Ricky again, have fun on your road trip and don't forget to fill the gas tank. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!

Recollections of an Incredible Man

February 27, 2012

I recall...One time when the Armstrong and the Little family had a picnic on the bank of the South Fork river just across the Roosevelt bridge in Stuart.  Dad Little became alarmed out in the river.  A snapping turtle had found his toe and became attached to it!  That was precisely the time when Mom Little declared that all swimmers should come in.  The turtle let go, and his toe recovered just fine...sure was sore for a while though.
...The many nights of the adults sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee, eating popcorn and playing Pinochle while us children ate popcorn and played a game of "war" out on the porch.
...Mother, Daddy, Mom Little, and Dad Little going to a Halloween party at the Rio Baptist church one year....Mother was dressed as the grim reaper, Daddy was literally dragged in and propped against a hay bale, he was a scarecrow...Mom and Dad Little won the contest...she dressed as a man, and he dressed as a woman...even SHAVED his under arms legs!  haha....Mother joked...said (and so did some others) that he made a better looking woman.
...Eating watermellons and having a seed spitting contest at the Crews home place.
...Most of all a man with a huge loving heart, kind words, and a great out-look on life.  I thank God he was a part of my life.
