On Monday, January 2, 2023, Jerry W. Busby passed away at the age of 79.Jerry was born on July 10, 1943, in Pelham, Alabama. Jerry graduated Thompson High School in 1961 where he was a great athlete. Although he moved to different parts of the country as a heavy equipment salesman, his heart remained in Shelby County. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Don M. and Marguerite C. Busby. He is survived by his brother Johnny Busby (Pam), his daughters Lindy Eichelberger (Albert “Bubba”) and Lori Kes (Pieter), his granddaughters, Tiffany, Ashley (Brandon), Laney, and Sadie, and his great grandson, Maverick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 10:30 – 11:30 am with a short prayer service to follow at First United Methodist Church of Alabaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Alabaster, 10903 Hwy 119, Alabaster, Alabama, 35007.
