Between May 14th and May 16th my siblings and I reunited with our Dad, for the first time having almost all of his children together with him in one place. It was a beautiful time of mending and healing our hearts and bringing us closer than we had ever been in our lives. Personally, I cannot thank my Dad enough for what he gave me over those last few days.....an "I love you Peggie" that I had been waiting a lifetime to hear and acknowledge. Although he had said it many times over my life, those last parting words from him will forever remain in my heart. I will forever also remember sitting on the couch with him as he held my hand. At that time I felt like the little girl who longed her entire life for her Daddy....thank you Daddy! I would not have guessed that it was the last time I would feel that strong soft hand holding mine....taken all too soon from us all!

I will forever love and hold you in my heart, until we meet again through Christ our Lord in heaven. I love you too Dad.....
