Jesse Willard Yates, age 90, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Bethany Nursing Center, Vidalia, Georgia, after an extended illness.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Willard Yates will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 11:00 AM EDT from the First Christain Christian Church of Lanett. Reverend Howard Merchant will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the First Christian Church of Lanett, 312 South 1st Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Lanett Christian Church, P. O. Box 452, Lanett, Alabama, 36863.

Dear Nita, I was so sorry to hear about Jesse. You are part of our family and He will be missed so. I love and appreciate you so much. You are so sweet and kind and loving. You are and will be in our prayers. The Lord is able to meet our need and give us comfort and peace through difficult times, if we only let Him. May the Lord bless and keep you and your family.

Nita, I was so sorry to read of Mr. Yates' passing. He was such a gentleman.  We have so many fond memories of our motor coach tours. You will be in my prayers.
