Jessie Ruth Holiday was born August 29, 1938, to Sallie Mae Holiday, in Alabama. She later migrated to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she married Robert Jones Sr. Together they birthed and raised five children. Jessie was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Jones Sr, and her children, Robert Jones Jr, Bobbie Jones, and Curtis Jones.
Throughout her life, Jessie worked and took care of her family. In her downtime, you could find her playing bingo or sitting at a slot machine at the casino. Jessie is also known for speaking her mind. She made sure she would get her point across.
Jessie leaves to mourn her legacy, her children, Paulett Jackson (Darryle Jackson Sr) and Joseph Jones; her eleven grandchildren, Ficatier Buzalka (Nick), Nitasha Brown (Terry), Darryle Jackson Jr, Parris Jackson, Pauline Pickens (Rushdee), Jessica Thompson, Alexis Griffin, Laura Wilcox, Constance Williams, Carmelita Williams, Curtis Wilcox; her great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
