Mr. Jestover Jones, Jr.,68 of New York transitioned into eternity on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
A native of Shorter,Alabama,  Mr. Jones was born May 7,1947.  

Services celebrating his life will be held Saturday,January 23, 2016 at 1pm from the sanctuary of the New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Shorter,Alabama. Rev. Anthony. C. Williams,Pastor
Words of comfort will be delivered by the Rev Sterling Marshall,pastor of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Tuskegee, Alabama.

Interment will follow in the Sweet Gum Cemetery.
Mr. Jones will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to funeral services.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 22,2016 from 2 until 7pm at Carter Funeral Home.
