The daughter of the late A. J., Sr. and Ozella Brown Hill, Mrs. Boutte was born in Columbus, GA and was a 1952 graduate of Spencer High School. She obtained her Bachelors degree from Ft. Valley State College and was an educator for over 32 years with Muscogee County Schools. She retired from St. Mary Magnet Academy, and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Elite Entre Nous Social Club. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Oliver Boutte, Jr., two sons, Oliver Boutte III and Oliver Boutte IV, and several siblings.

Surviving are: two daughters, Pier Boutte-Gittens (Milton) and Sharron M. Boutte; seven grandchildren, Brannon, Milton, Sean, Eric, Oliver V, Aaron, and Divante; two great grandchildren, Niyanna Jewel and Lucas Anthony; two brothers, A. J. Hll, Jr. and Byron Hill (Regina); loving sisters-in-law, Bertha Boutte and Gloria Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
