As a young girl, I loved going camping with my family.  We arrived at our favorite spot on Spring River, cold, clear-to-the-bottom running river.... I decided to "show off" and while saying "I can swim", JUMPED IN... I swam... straight to the bottom, like a rock... the next thing I knew, as I was gulping COLD water, was Dad's strong arm and the sounds of his laughter pulling me up out of the water... I never JUMPED in that river again!  Thanks Dad, for saving my onery behind... more than once...
