This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jim Kruchoski, 73 years old, born on January 30, 1949, and passed away on August 1, 2022. We will remember him forever.
James (Jim) Lee Kruchoski was born January 30, 1949 in Bremerton, WA and passed away on August 1, 2022 in Tualatin, OR. His parents, Jim and Evelyn, brother Keith Kruchoski and sister Marilyn Hatch preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Mary and his niece Tiffany Hatch, nephews Clinton and Jesse Kruchoski, their families and many cousins. Jim is also survived by Mary’s family, including her sisters Susan Kent and Michele Howard, brother James Belott, nieces Kyndra Russell, Jennifer Queen, Clare Belott and nephews Nathan Cavin, Mitchell Belott and Zach Kent. Jim was an honored Veteran of The United States Army, earning a Bronze star, a Purple heart, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Air Medal. Jim had many careers including truck driving, his own landscape business, Lindell Cedar Homes, Keller Supply, The Fence Company and lastly Master Halco. In retirement, Jim joined the Patriot Guard Riders advancing to Ride Captain, where he was called, ‘Captain Krunch’. Jim met Mary while working at Keller Supply as a branch manager. They were happily married for 31 years. Together they had many memorable adventures, camping with friends and family, boating, kayaking, snow-skiing, motorcycle riding and traveling. Jim was loved by many, his family, co-workers, neighbors and Patriot Guard riders. One week before Jim’s passing, the Patriot Guard staged a parade for Jim. It was a beautiful send-off for a very generous and humble servant. Jim will be forever missed.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Patriot Guard. A Celebration of Life will be held at the West Linn Community Center 1180 Rosemont Road West Linn, OR 97068 Sept. 11, 2022 12:30 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Interment at Willamette National Cemetery Sept. 12 2022 at 10 A.M.
