100 years old and smiling down from heaven. Although the years make the pain lighter, not being able to share your new great grandson Azla and great-great grandaughter Amaya makes me very sad. I know you and Mom are looking down proud and probably happy you are not here to watch what our country is turning into. As Kelly's tattoo states "And This Too Shall Pass".....

Another year has passed and it saddens me to celebrate your life and not able to celebrate with Rocky! I know you must be having your pay backs in heaven as you served all so well here on earth. Love you,
Marcia

Sadness overwhelms me as there is so much I need your guidance for, Dad. It is true what they say, "you never know what you have until you lose it". I miss you as much today as when you first passed. You are the strongest man I have ever met! I love you,
Marcia

Dad,

Just a year ago and so much sadness. You always were my hero and still are. Your memory will live on through your children and grandchildren and I thank you for continuing to watch over me.
I love you,
M

I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday, Dad. I certainly hope you are celebrating with so many family and friends because we miss you so much down here. They say each day gets easier but I say some days are just so hard without you here to talk to. I love you and appreciate all you gave me and my entire family!

I am missing you today, Grandpa, but I am so grateful for the time we shared and for the lessons I learned from you. Sempre Famiglia! You will forever be the heart of our family.

Sometimes there are just not enough words to convey a sense of love and admiration towards a person. My grandfather was such a solid part of my life and I treasured our time together. He modeled a life filled with great work ethic, family dedication, lasting friendships and an overall positive attitude in all that he did. I feel so fortunate to have wonderful memories that will last forever!!

To say that he was a "man of few words" would be overly simplistic.

For me, he was a man of clear, concise thought and intentional, effective action.

He lived his beliefs, and used words when necessary.

I mourn the loss of a great man, and celebrate the opportunity to have been his apprentice, friend, golf partner...and grandson.

Can't wait to see him again - when the time comes!

I know the pain of losing a wonderfully spirited and beloved figure in your lives will touch you deeply for a long time. However, I hope that your warm memories of Jim/Grandpa embrace you to help carry you through this season of mourning and beyond. Love and God Bless, Tobi

Jim was a good man. He lived a full and interesting life. I always enjoyed talking with him, from stories about the Las Vegas of decades past (seeing Frank Sinatra in concert), to his time serving in the Army in WWII (he fought in the Battle of the Bulge), to his time at the airlines during the pioneering years of commercial aviation. He will be missed by friends and family alike.

I had the pleasure of working with "Mr. Jim" at the Post office many years ago. I always remember him with a smile. He had a great personality. May all your memories comfort you.

Kim was one of your favorites and you hers.  You gave her so much love and direction when she needed you most.  She was a wonderful mother but her calling and true love is babies so she has one again and is so happy to be able to dedicate two days a week to helping her grow.  You can already see her teaching apply to her actions and by the way, Hailey really stepped up to be a fabulous mother.  You have so much to be proud of!

I hope you are watching over this precious child.  Justin is a great father so you would be proud that some of your teachings have stuck.  In the years ahead there will be even more opportunities for you to see them both grow.  Please continue to watch over them as they have become such a big part of who you were.
