James ( Jimmy Donald Lineham ) was born October 5. 1951. A life-long resident of Vancouver Jim attended several local public schools.  At a young age, Jim exhibited a strong passion for electronics and electrical gadgets. While in elementary school he built a short-range radio station that broadcasted several blocks.  As a talented musician Jim was a member of the Vancouver band called The Daze of Nite, and other local groups. Jimmy played lead guitar at countless venues in the Pacific Northwest. Happiest while performing music, he particularly enjoyed R&B. He seemed to play effortlessly and was able to play any song by ear alone. Jimmy was fond of Jimi Hendrix, and Purple Haze was one of his favorite songs.  Due to his unique electrical skills countless musicians asked Jim to build and repair their amplifiers, speakers and other electrical equipment. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends.  He continued to listen to good music and jam with local musicians up until the end of his life.  Many knew Jim as a kind and gentle person.  Contributions in his name can be made to Lifeline Connection.
