Jimmie Dale McDonald, a longtime resident of Creedmoor passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home.

A native of Durham County, he was the son of the late Roy David and Betty Noah McDonald. He was of the Baptist faith, a loving husband, an avid Carolina fan, previously worked at Creedmoor Fuel and a helpful and supportive handyman to all his neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday, June 28th, 2013 in South Granville Memorial Gardens on Old 75 in Stem, NC.

Surviving are his wife Patsy Boyd McDonald of the home, one step-daughter, a brother David McDonald of Durham, a niece and three nephews.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol McDonald and Brenda McDonald.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 28th, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the graveside service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.

Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the McDonald family.
