Jo Ann, your beautiful story brought tears to my eyes. I remember it was love at first sight between you and Jimmie. And from there the love grew and grew. I just found out about Jimmie today and my heart breaks for you and David. I know you are having a difficult time with this because I know how much you love him. You are in my thoughts.

Though I knew him much longer,Jimmie was my coworker and close friend for 3.5 years at Creedmoor. We had many memorable and funny moments. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. I will miss him. My wife, Louise, and I pray for strength for the Stephenson Family in their time of need.

I was happy to be able to see you guys and give him a hug one last time. He and YOU were both an inspiration and have left an impact on my life and many others Im sure. He is happy and healthy now & as you begin your healing process, you & yours are in my prayers.

Through Jimmie I meet two beautiful families, the Weaver's and the Stephenson's. Jimmie showed us how to love and care for people. His wisdom will stay with me forever. Jimmie will be missed but he will live on in us. Love you all. (Junior)

Joanne, Rickey and other family - I am so very sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose family but especially one as young as Jimmy. He and my brother Robert were the same age and we lost him three years ago this week. Joanne my prayers will be with you and David thru the coming days as you start the healing process. God bless you all. (Shelia Forsythe Butts)
