James Dean Heilman 46, born on March 29th, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri passed away suddenly at home on June 8th, 2012 in Houston, Texas from cardiac disease.
Jimmy attended Cure’ of Ars grade school. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and Regis University. Jimmy started his career in the Industrial Uniform business at Mission Linen Supply and continued on to become Sales Manager at American Linen in California. He then joined the family business, Ace ImageWear in Houston, Texas and was currently a partner and serving as the VP of Sales & Marketing. He was a former President of ITRA Association. Jimmy was a cherished son, loving brother, devoted husband, dedicated father, and loyal friend. His wife, Jan was the love of his life and when the twins were born his life was complete. Jimmy was the happiest at home with his family and adored Dean and Riley. He was the life of the party. Jimmy had a passion for the Rocky Mountains where he and Jan wed. His sense of adventure and zest for life was contagious. Jimmy made so many strong friendships everywhere he roamed. From skydiving, white water rafting to snow skiing. He wanted to experience it all. He loved to travel and most of all be surrounded by his family and friends. He will always be in our thoughts and greatly missed.
Jimmy was preceeded in death by his brother Richard Louis Heilman. He is survived by his wife, Jan Fawcett Heilman; four year old twins Dean and Riley; his parents Roy and Shirley Heilman, brother Billy (Shelly) Heilman, sister Jeannie (Jim) Richardson, brother Tommy (Maggie) Heilman, in-laws Darryl and Gloria Fawcett, brother-in-law Wayde (Farhana) Fawcett and 12 nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 6:00 at St. Michael Catholic Church 1801 Sage Rd. Houston, TX on June 13th. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am at St. Michael on June 14th. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the St. Michael School Building Campaign in Memory of James Dean Heilman
