A loving man left us a little to soon. Its hard to believe. Hes been gone from my life now for 37 years. So many times i wanted to run over t his house an tell him this or that but then I would realize he wasnt there any more. God had called him home. I will never forget that day he left this earth. I had stopped by to check on my mm, she had been through so much taking care of dad everyday. I could seein her face just how tired she had became. I stood by dad an rubbed his hand an could tell he was barely holding on. So i took mom aside an ask her again would she please tell dad he could go that he had suffered enough. Tell him you loved him and that you will be ok when hes goes.so she said she would. Well i had to leave their house for a bit.I had barely made it home when i got the call rom my sister Debbie. She said he was gone. I talke to her a few minutes to see how she was holding up an she said she was ok.i told her id be right back over but i had something i had to tell Neal an my little girls. I knew it wasnt gona be easy Brandi was 15 an Kassi was 12. It was such a hard thing. We had to tell those young girls. that papa had went to be with Jesus today.. We hugged an cried for quite awhile. They wanted to go check oh gran, so we headed back over that way an as Neal was driving I had this thought come to my mind, it was mint from me to have just left mom s and dads God knew what he was doing. He sent me away from that house cause God knew it was time an God knew that i was a daddies girl an needed to be away when he went home to Jesus. I kow this to be true cause you see out Of The two of us girls. I was always the stronger one. Debbie the soft hearted one. But that day she knew she had to be strong for me. An that she was.I love you sis. Thanks for standing strong. An to daddys brothers an sisiters an couisins who stood day in an day out helping mom. We thank you all. I never got to tell daddy that he was my Hero!! So tell your loved ones that you love then every chance you get. Love to all.
