September 23, 2015

Jimmy Lamar "Scoggie" Walker, the son of the late Bessie Mae Mathews and to the late James (Gertrude) Walker in Troup County, Georgia. He was born on the 27th Day of June 1950 and departed this earthly life peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama on the 18th Day of September 2015. He entered a land where pain and suffering will be no longer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Dessa Mae Mathews Brown; brothers; Hiram S. Walker and John O. Walker; aunt; Edna J. Brown.

He loved fishing, watching sports, hanging around any area construction site and who can forget…..HIS LOTTERY TICKETS. He touched the lives of many people with his generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humour all the way to the end.
