I remember the last time we were together was on the 4th of July, and (Man) as we called him, was 4 years old, LaTonya had to be about 5 or 6 and Donte was 2.  We had gone to the grocery store with my mom to get more food for the family cookout we were having.  Here my mom is with 5 children running around and pregnant, the people in the grocery store was angry at my dad because of all these funny looking children and my mom was pregnant again.  We had 2 big grocery sacks filled with fireworks, (when could still have fireworks within the city limits), and several bags of food.  We had the best time together because my Uncles and Aunts and cousins had came from California to spend the 4th of July with us.  The children got into the wrong cake and ended up eating the Adult Rum Cake (with Rum) instead of the Childrens Rum Cake (without Rum) and ended up passed out in the living room sleep before the night was over.  We had a day filled with Family, Fun, and Food until someone threw a live hand grenande and made everybody run for cover.  Over All it was a wonderful time together like all family gatherings should be.
