Jo Ann Heath of LaFayette passed away at home on October 8, 2017.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 10 at 11:00 am at the LaFayette First United Methodist Church with Reverend Rusty Williams officiating.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

Interment will be at the LaFayette City Cemetery.

I remember picking up phone and asking JoAnn to come to Chambers to teach because we needed a math teacher. She said Cindy, I don’t think that y’all really want me to and I’m not sure I want to. Mr. Ray said, JoAnn, go help them out and the story began. One of the best moves I ever made at school. Thank you JoAnn for helping the school out and being a good friend to a lot of us. RIP my friend!
