This memorial website was created in memory of our Mom, Joan Baldwin, 83, born on
September 20, 1931 and passed away on July 26, 2015.
She leaves behind her husband Charles of 61 years and 4 beautiful children; Debbie, Wendy, Jeff and Renee whom she loved more than life itself.  She is also survived by her sister Vera Hankins and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
We will remember you forever Mom, as our Angel in heaven, as we cherish all the loving memories you gave us.

This memorial was set up on line for us all to share pictures, videos and heartwarming memories of Mom. She touched us with her true love and friendship during all her years with us. This is by far all of our families' most intimate task that we will embark on and it will always be something that we will be proud of and keep forever the legacy of our Mom, Joan Baldwin.

A celebration of Joan Baldwin's life will be held on Saturday October 31st 2015

at the First Congregational Church in Ridgefield, CT.
103 Main St, Ridgefield, CT 06877 at 2pm
After the service we invite all to gather at the church hall for refreshments.

I had the chance to reconnect with Mrs. Baldwin about a year ago, in Stop & Shop -- after about 50 years. After brief introductions, she began a summary of the lives of her dear children and also told me of her concern for Mr. Baldwin, who had had a bad fall. It was so clear from this brief encounter that Mrs. Baldwin was so very proud of her family. What a lovely service at the church yesterday, a wonderful tribute to a sweet, sweet woman!

To the Baldwin family:
I took care of Joan when she was getting blood transfusions
at the infusion center. She was a lovely dignified woman.
Fought every step of the way to stay alive, until she couldn't
any longer! We had long conversations about her family. She loved all of you! I think of her often when I am at work!! RIP Joan, your suffering has ended.
