Joan was second mom to us kids growing up, jenn & cathe. We would stay for hours or even weekends. There was always a place setting at the dinner table no questions asked. Memories of watching Mrs. Palmer iron sheets, tending to her beautiful garden of flowers & greenery, or even just relaxing in St. Croix, she did all with style & grace. She & Cliff provided us young girls with a safe, adventurous, loving childhood to which I will cherish always. Thank you for contributing to the woman, mom, daughter & friend I am today.
