My sisters and I were just talking about Mrs. Landers, and what good times there were. When this email reminder popped up, I took the time to look at the photos again, remembering the 60's on 49th, Cookie the dog (how does one remember that so long ago?) and so many great times. Driving us to the basketball league in Pompano, beach, summer movies at the Coral Ridge theater. And that the house was always seemed to be rearranged.  It is a shame she is gone, but she is not forgotten.

Today marks the 1st anniversary of your passing Mom..But you by far are not forgotten..we talk of you often..Many things continue to make us laugh. I see some of you in my girls, your strong independ personality and quick witted comments. I learned alot from you over the years and many things will stay with me forever.... life is moving on but your spirit continues and you will never be forgotten..with love always, Lisa

For my sisters and I, we lost a second Mom. I think we spent as much time in the Landers' house as our own when we were growing up. We are going to miss her laugh, big time Christmas decorations, and warmth. They were great days growing up, and Mrs. Landers will always be a core part of that.

Kathy and I would come to mom and dad's condo once a year. Our visit was never complete until we saw Jack and Joan. They were always loving, gracious and very welcoming. We always had a wonderful and fun time. They are missed and loved. Keep us in mind for her memorial.
