The last time I saw Cousin Joan was at my wedding in New York in 2019. I was extremely excited that she was able to join us as we celebrated our union. Cousin Joan was a classy lady that I admired. When I was growing up in Detroit, I remember her always having it together. We will hold on to the memories that left us with Cousin as you rest in the arms of our savior. To all of my family, may God continue to strengthen you as we celebrate her life today.

I am just hearing about this and it hurts my soul. She was an amazing person and sweet soul to Me.
We had shopping sprees and drinking was our past time. I will forever keep her close to my ❤.

My aunt's most well-known characteristics were selflessness, thoughtfulness, and seriousness. Although she had a keen sense of humor, she took life very seriously and made goals in which she always intended to meet. As she was a lover of Casinos all over the world, she believed that everything's a gamble, but love was most of all! Losing an aunt is like losing a mother. As long as I have the breath to speak your name, I will love you. Continue to watch over our family and rest up. You will be missed and forever cherished. -Dance amongst the clouds as you would on the dance floor.

To The Family of Joan Paulette Hal-Gray. I’m so sorry for your loss ,May you find comfort in knowing that death was not God’s original purpose for us.Never forget the promise Jesus Christ made at John 11:11 to awake all those sleeping in death , Jesus could rightfully make that promise because he knew he had the power to resurrect the dead. What a time to look forward to!!! Job 14:14,15 ask if a man dies can he live again.( Remember the promise)

Joan I'm so sorry we never got a chance to spend time together. Life happened and we went our separate ways. But I always admired you and loved you dearly. When I think of our youth on Springle Street I have fond memories of you. Looking forward to seeing you again on our next journey. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

Sisters are always ready to love, comfort, and defend you. They are lifelong friends you can count on until the end. In fact, the only force powerful enough to cut short the friendship between a sister and her siblings is death. The loss of such a special relative can be particularly painful, but holding dear all of the precious memories you shared will help you to cope.
